An immersive performance experience in which we invite you to create a safe and inclusive space together in the given time and place. An informal dance party based on utopian ideas about the perfect society. Everyone is invited to surrender to rhythmic electronic music and to lose control together with the many.

Implemented as part of the White Night Forum of Contemporary Culture with the financial support of the Riga City Council and the Australian Embassy in Latvia

Laura Gorodko is a choreographer, dancer, movement teacher and member on the board of the Latvian Choreographers Association. Since graduating from Latvian Academy of Culture Contemporary Dance Art Program, the performances “Y” and “Pocket-sized Polygon” have been created and are currently collaborating with various artists from the dance and theater industries. The last most important collaborative works: “Peers” dir. E. Niklasons, “Dance Lecture for Nothing” hor. L. Ūbele, “Femina” chor. S. Neilande, “Conclave” dir. K. K. Košins. Outside of her creative activity in the performing arts industry, Laura goes to international master classes and exchange projects every year, experiments with the connection of video and dance art, creating short dance films, and looking for other ways to combine audiovisual and dance art.

RŪTA RONJA is a Latvian freelance dance and film artist, based in Tallinn, Estonia. Her curious mind of developing further and deeper moves through exploration in-within art, teaching, moving, capturing and exploring every day as a moment of now. She has been teaching contemporary dance technique and dance film making as a guest lecturer at Tallinn University since 2019, as well as a guest lecturer at the Latvian Academy of Culture, Iceland University of the Arts and often she gives workshops in Estonia, Latvia and abroad. During the past several years of being professionally active Rūta has had a chance to collaborate on many, many amazing projects with different artists from different fields.
